Edward Lowenthal, age 59, has been a director of WRP since its formation in January 1997. Mr. Lowenthal served as the President and Chief Executive Officer from WRP’s formation in January 1997 until his retirement on March 31, 2002, from which time he has been serving as a consultant to WRP. Mr. Lowenthal served as the President and Chief Executive Officer and as a trustee of Wellsford Residential Property Trust from its formation in July 1992 until consummation of its merger in May 1997 with EQR. Mr. Lowenthal is Managing Member of Ackerman Management LLC, a real estate advisory and investment firm. Mr. Lowenthal currently serves as a director of Reis, Inc. Omega Healthcare, Inc., a healthcare REIT and as a trustee of the Manhattan School of Music.
