Mark S. Germain, age 53, has been a director of WRP since May 1997. Mr. Germain served as a trustee of Wellsford Residential Property Trust from November 1992 until consummation of the merger in May 1997. For the past five years he has been employed by Olmsted Group L.L.C., which is a consultant to biotechnology and other high technology companies. Mr. Germain also serves as a board member of several privately-held biotechnology companies. He is also a member of the New York bar.
