RICHARD P. MARRS, M.D.

Dr. Richard Marrs is a board certified Reproductive Endocrinologist. He studied medicine and trained in Obstetrics and Gynecology in Texas before moving to Southern California to study Reproductive Endocrinology. While at the University of Southern California (USC), he developed one of the country's first IVF programs. He is internationally recognized for his contributions to the development of IVF. Dr. Marrs is director of the Center for Reproductive Medicine at Santa Monica-UCLA Medical Center. He is on the boards of numerous medical and scientific organizations and is a prominent figure in the national and international infertility communities.

JOYCE M. VARGYAS, M.D.

Dr. Joyce M. Vargyas received her medical degree in Washington DC where she had the opportunity to study at the National Institute of Health. She moved to California to train in Obstetrics and Gynecology at USC. She stayed at USC to do her sub-specialty training in Reproductive Medicine and subsequently joined the faculty as an Assistant Professor. During her fellowship years she was instrumental in the initiation of the USC-IVF program and performed research in the areas of endocrinology and the clinical management of patients undergoing ovarian stimulation. She has worked with infertility patients for over twelve years and along with Dr. Marrs co-founded California Fertility Partners.

GUY E. RINGLER, M.D.

Dr. Guy Ringler is a board certified Reproductive Endocrinologist and an Assistant clinical Professor at the UCLA School of Medicine. Dr. Ringler studied medicine in Michigan, then trained in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Chicago. He completed his fellowship training at the University of Pennsylvania where he gained extensive experience in microsurgery, performed basic science research and practiced clinical infertility. Dr. Ringler has published articles on the regulation of placental hormone production and clinical infertility. He has been practicing in Los Angeles since 1990 and is a partner at California Fertility Partners.

BRONTE A. STONE, PH.D.

Dr. Bronte Stone is the technical director of our IVF laboratory and of Reproductive Technology Laboratories, a licensed clinical laboratory serving more than 200 physicians in fertility-related specialities. After obtaining his Ph.D. in medicine, he joined our group in 1986, and currently oversees a staff of technicians and scientists who perform research and clinical testing in assisted reproductive technologies. Dr. Stone is certified as a Director of laboratories performing high complexity testing. Dr. Stone has published extensively in reproductive endocrinology and immunology during the past twenty years, and has several ongoing research interests in andrology, reproductive endocrinology and reproductive immunology.

CHARLES M. MARCH, M.D.

Dr. Charles March is a board certified doctor of Obstetrics and Gynecology and a member of numerous medical societies, including charter membership in the Society of Reproductive Surgeons. During his 30-year tenure at USC, where he was a full professor and Chief of Gynecology, he worked with Drs. Marrs and Vargyas to develop a number of therapeutic regimens for fertility drugs and ovarian ultrasound. He has received numerous awards and honors, and has been cited in "The Best Doctors in America," where he was the only physician in the U.S. cited in both Reproductive Surgery and Reproductive Endocrinology. Prior to joining California Fertility Partners, he maintained a private practice for 25 years. His research interests include reproductive surgery and reproductive endocrinology.
